The project scope includes a complete remodeling of the building-in-occupancy, addition of a sixth floor, and exterior renovations. Specific functions are designated on each floor: student welfare facilities on the first floor; research labs and student study rooms the second floor; laboratories and a lobby on the third floor; comprehensive practice rooms and a TBL (team-based learning) room on the fourth floor; a simulation center and media lab on the fifth floor; and a large lecture hall, an experimental animal research center, and a sky lounge on the sixth floor.
