Modern museums have evolved beyond simply\u00a0exhibiting\u00a0historical artifacts and documents to become open cultural facilities where anyone can experience, feel, and enjoy. The National Maritime Museum also balances education and entertainment while serving as a maritime park accessible freely to the public.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To\u00a0provide\u00a0the best possible views of the sea, an artificial ground was created on the reclaimed site so that visitors can always see the sea from the beginning to the end of their visit and throughout the interior exhibition spaces. The lower levels house a large auditorium and a library, while the upper floors\u00a0contain\u00a0exhibition spaces, a restaurant, an observatory, and other ancillary facilities.
