This approach stemmed from past experiences&nbsp;where&nbsp;university libraries often neglected maintenance and management aspects.&nbsp;<br>Light streaming down from the skylight centered over the circulation and catalog areas enlivens the library&#8217;s interior spaces, emphasizing its role as a place for study. The entire library&nbsp;operates&nbsp;in an open-shelf system; taking advantage of the sloping site, the main entrance is&nbsp;located&nbsp;on the second floor.
