True to the name “Eunhaeng-dong” (Ginkgo Village), a 300-year-old protected ginkgo tree stands near the complex. To the east, Geomdan Mountain and Namhansanseong Fortress—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—are located nearby, making the area rich in natural, historical, and cultural elements. Seongnam Eunhaeng Jugong Apartments face significant challenges in pedestrian accessibility due to an elevation difference of approximately 70 meters within the complex. To address this issue, the central area of the complex was cleared to create a large-scale valley, which was designed to house community facilities. The main building, featuring Seongnam’s first sky bridge, serves as a gateway connecting the Seongnam city center, Geomdan Mountain, Namhansanseong Fortress, and the complex along a single axis. The 59 different unit types planned for 3,403 households offer residents a wide range of choices. Designed with a unique crystal curtain wall look, a “New Wave” design reminiscent of the gentle breezes of Geomdansan Mountain, and a “Fortress” façade resembling castle walls, the complex is intended to become a landmark representing Seongnam.

The Seongnam Eunhaeng Jugong Apartment Complex, built in 1987, consists of 26 buildings and is home to approximately 2,147 households.
