To prevent Air Force pilots from transferring to commercial airlines, support for military housing was provided. Additionally, to accommodate the increased number of government officials traveling to Seoul for business following the opening of the Sejong City government complex, 80 Air Force family housing units and 90 administrative housing units were required. To create a pleasant living environment, the design ensures spatial independence for each user and incorporates the natural surroundings as much as possible. Formally, the design emphasizes the symbolism of the Air Force while also positioning the building as a landmark at the gateway to Yeouido. For the rental officetels and neighborhood amenities\u2014which are private revenue-generating facilities\u2014the number of units per size category was determined based on profitability, and the ratio of exclusive use area was maximized to enhance rental appeal.
