Located within the Gumi National Industrial Complex, the site is geographically flanked by the Nakdong River to the west and Bongduamsan Mountain to the east. However, the gridded urban structure, shaped by the goal-oriented nature of manufacturing and the characteristics of the industrial complex, creates an environment that offers little experience of nature. To foster a healthy working environment under these conditions, the welfare center was designed to be open both internally and externally. Although it is a single building, it houses a variety of programs for employees and connects the interior and exterior of the complex, aiming to improve work efficiency through enhanced welfare.
