We envisioned the Jeollanam-do Provincial Art Museum as a space that reflects this image of the region, capable of embodying the land\u2019s history and memories. We designed the building with a low profile to embrace the gentle urban flow emanating from the site of the former Gwangyang Station\u2014a disused section of the Gyeongjeon Line\u2014and to harmonize with the vast, open plains.
