Children&#8217;s Hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group pjtText\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you wake up from a dream, sometimes the traces of the dream remain vivid and concrete, while other times only a faint afterimage lingers. In this project, our approach to the master plan for Chonnam National University Hospital centered on contemplating what the future might look like in about 20 years. Rather than presenting the client with merely idealistic and vague dreams, we focused on demonstrating a concrete reality\u2014one that feels as though it is unfolding right before our eyes and can be touched. The Children\u2019s Hospital, serving as the starting point for this vivid future, is designed to share a common vocabulary within the context of future developments while simultaneously being imbued with the distinct imagery and colors of a children\u2019s hospital. It embraces current inconveniences but is planned to adapt to the evolving overall picture. The hospital is filled with a three-dimensional interplay of continuous growth, change, and diverse circulation patterns that flow seamlessly. The master plan was conceived by condensing and imagining a long-term process, and the internal and external circulation routes move frantically, like a rapidly spinning film reel.
